Hobbs State Park Regional Team
Friday June 3rd. We were called on to help get Dutton Hollow trail ready for a major foot race taking place on June 4th. Debbie Ludolph, Lynn Reynolds and Marla Walker were able to assist with this last minute request. We rode and trimmed for three hours. The weather was beautiful, such a blessing. On Monday I received a text from Jeff Montgomery who passed on to me some feedback from the race coordinators stating
"We have never had this much glowing feedback on the conditions of the trails on race day. Well done, fellas. Thank you"
Wedington Wildlife Management Area Regional Team
Wedington regional team worked to clean up and remove ribbons and scrape paint on a 1.7 mile stretch of trail north of Juan Pedro Road the month of may. The team also utilized GPS mapping techniques and shared them with the members who attended the clean up ride. The Wedington team will continue working with Wedington land management authorities on this clean up project.
