NORTHWEST ARKANSAS CHAPTER |
We collectively put our boots on the ground and work in conjunction with public land agencies to maintain trails for future generations. |
Back Country Horsemen [and Women!] of Northwest Arkansas (BCHNWA) is one of four chapters of the national organization called Back Country Horsemen of America. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 comprised of volunteers located right here in Northwest Arkansas. Our BCHNWA mission is to preserve, maintain and protect access to public lands for equestrians, hikers, bikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts.
We collectively put our boots on the ground and work in conjunction with public land agencies to maintain trails for future generations. Back Country Horsemen of America was founded as a service, safety and educational organization that works with government land managers at all levels. Our volunteers and members have cleared thousands of miles of public trails across the country at an estimated value of tens of millions of dollars. If it weren't for our volunteer efforts, many public trails would go unusable to the public. |
REGIONS WE SERVE
Volunteers of BCHNWA serve a wide area - covering some of the most beautiful terrain in the Natural State.

MAKE YOUR RIDES COUNT
|
By becoming a member of BCHNWA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, every mile you haul and every trail you ride, hike, or bike could translate to a valued dollar amount that is saved by the state.
Membership numbers and their dollar equivalents allow more opportunity for grants, education to the public, equipment, land access, and partnerships with government agencies, land managers, and wildlife conservationists. For only $30 a year ($40 for families) you can join us in putting boots (and hooves) on the ground to maintain your favorite trails and protect them for the future. |

DONATE
|
We know time, location, and physical limitations are major restrictions to many of our members and friends.
Every donation goes directly back into our non-profit and the work we do to maintain public lands. |
